This website and associated social media channels—Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok—are managed by Sir Chris Bryant MP and members of his team. These platforms aim to share news, updates, and resources about Rhondda and Ogmore, including parliamentary activities and constituency engagements, as well as ways for you to get involved.
We strive to ensure these online spaces are safe and respectful for all users—especially constituents of Rhondda and Ogmore—to express their views and engage in discussions. To foster a constructive and welcoming environment, we ask that everyone abides by the following community guidelines:
Community Guidelines
We encourage respectful and meaningful discussions. While diverse opinions are welcome, everyone should be treated with dignity, courtesy, and respect.
The following types of content are not permitted and may be removed by our moderators:
- Discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexuality, gender, age, or disability.
- Threats, harassment, or incitement to violence towards any individual or group.
- Misinformation and conspiracy theories that could mislead the public.
- Spam, irrelevant content, or repetitive comments that do not contribute to the discussion.
- Impersonation of individuals or organisations, including fake accounts or bots.
- Promotion or advertising of external services, businesses, or political organisations.
- Obscene or sexually suggestive content, including profanity.
- Personal attacks against individuals, including Council employees and Elected Members.
- Confidential information about yourself or others.
- Content that poses a security or privacy risk.
- Comments discussing ongoing legal proceedings.
Our moderation team will assess content for compliance with these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal and, for repeated offenses, blocking of the user. In serious cases, we may report incidents to the relevant authorities, including the police.
